OK from many posts around the forum it appears that the fundamental problem here is that many people don't understand the game engine. There are many clues about skills in the faq but it seems that is also not clear enough
What I would propose is questions and answers session. That way we get to see what needs to be put in the FAQ and you get to learn more about how things work.
A few "rules" first.
1.) Don't ask about specific skills - we will not tell you which skills are for what
2.) Ask 1 question at the time (that will be much easier for us)
3.) Direct game examples are OK since we can analyze exactly what happened and everyone else can see it too.
4.) Questions that involve players and their involvement in a match can result in that players stats being "unveiled" for everyone to see (this only applies if the one posting a question is also the owner of the players in question)
5.) Check the FAQ first before posting
6.) If you don't have a question then don't post |

When talking about skills (skills -> the ones that are trainable) per any given position:
How do skills contribute to players "rating per position" (in Terms of "quality", "player power" ) - i hope one of my possible answers do fit:
-> all skills have an effect for any position and contribute to rating - skill are equally weigthed
-> all skills have an effect for any position and contribute to rating - with different weights per skill
-> only a specific skillset per position contributes to rating - skills are equally weighted
-> only a specific skillset per position contributes to rating - with different weights per skill
-> There are positions that use all the skills and also positions that use only a subset - skills are equally weighted
-> There are positions that use all the skills and also positions that use only a subset - with different weights per skill

Do all skills have infulence on winning duel with defender (after win player shoots) or each position need few specific skills needed to wining the duel with defender?
Edit by Admin:
The defender-attacker "duel" is calculated in different ways - with different sets of skills which can be weighted differently. The deciding factors to which calculation is used are the positions of the two players involved and the attacking formation. |

Are all shots on target?
A goalie (or a defender) needs to succeed to prevent goal.
Edit by Admin:
Currently, all shots are considered "on target". So yes, a goalkeeper or a defender need to succeed to prevent a goal. |

Edited by Admin
Currently technique doesn't have any influence on the defenders. |

Why does stamina effect a player's wage and the other physical skills don't?
Cheers, v
Edit by Admin:
First, this is supposed to be a game engine session
Second, I'll have to get back to you on this one, since I was under the impression that all the skills were used |

In a league match a player get 2 points experience... If he is playing 30 minutes ... he get 1 point experience? and if he play 45 minutes get 1,50...?
Edit by Admin:
A player gets either 2 or 3 experience points (random) - it doesn't mater if he plays 20 or 60 minutes |

Does aggression influence the defensive ability of a player in a positive way other than the more frequent use of deliberate fouls?
Edit by Admin:
Yes, aggression also has a positive effect on the players. |
