We all know the IHF doesn't rank national teams, like FIFA does. Thus, there is no comparison for the national teams apart from (obviously) the matches they play and the titles they win.

These are all the teams I am even remotely familiar with. Enjoy, and remember, make your own list.

IHF has some ranking list, but nobody knows how they did that list(with Germans in the lead). I'll do my list tommorrow(based on real results).

That list doesn't rank national teams. It ranks national leagues. But we still don't know how they did it.

Wrong. These are the national league rankings. I already said so in this thread. But regardless, I was asking for your opinions. Why paste a list that has absolutely nothing to do with this thread?

It is national league ranking?!?!?!
IHF don't organise the club competitions as well as that list includes only european countries. It cannot be league ranking anyway. Also spanish league is 2nd strongest for now(and most succesful in champions league) when Spain is only 8th on the list. It's more likely to be the national team ranking including also very old results in major competitions(it will answer why Russia, Serbia or Romania are so high). Germany probably also has former GDR points(like Russia has points after USSR, Serbia after Yugoslavia). But it's only an idea.
Sorry I hadn't published my list yet It will come soon(maybe tommorrow).

Even if is was a ranking with very old results, I couldn't understand that Germany is ahead of Russia.
And France only 6 ? Must be veryyyyy old results (over 10 years, at least). And how could Denmark be ahead, their best results aren't old at all.

This ranking is just a nonsense to me.

I always just assumed it was a national league ranking because it makes no sense to rank the historically-best teams in the world. Not to mention the amazing lack of countries on that list.

I couldn't be national league ranking either.
Not only Spanish championship is way better than that, but Swedish one is quite poor.
