and will not update the table team
that Croatia would not come in the first place

It was a really tight Final, and semi-final too for that matter, and I'm very happy to be able to claim the 10th WC titel to Sweden. It's very little that differentiate teams in the top and this time around we got the Swedish offence to score even against the best goalkeepers and defenders. That, among some luck and good player vs player matchup was the key this time around.

Here's a list of the best players of WC 10

A new NT cyle is about to start, again the ranking system has not been updated, nor trophys...

I suggested a new World Ranking system in the suggestion thread, i doubt the admins look at it though, however I will give them everyhing on a silver platter this time around...

I took the time to calculate the world ranking of NTs with a new system, very similar to the one I suggested in the suggestion thread.

Since pasting in table format difficult in this forum I suggest looking at this picture, and it will also explain the calculations .

Calculations

Each international match have a base amount of points that are distributed depending on match outcome
The winning team get all points, the losing team get 0 points and both teams split the points if the match is a draw.
If a playoff match goes to overtime it's regarded as a draw and both teams split the points.

Base points depend on the following:
World Cup qualifier: 100 points
World Cup group stage: 150 points
World Cup playoff: 200 points

The summation is based on the last four World Cups.
The most recent world cup provide full base points (100%)
The second most recent world cup provide 3/4 (75%) base points for that season.
The third most recent world cup provide 1/2 (50%) base points for that season.
The forth most recent world cup provide 1/4 (25%) base points for that season.
The final summation rounds everything down to 0 decimals.

World Ranking in horrible format

1 Sweden 2937
2 Poland 2912
3 Czech Republic 2575
4 Croatia 2537
5 Hungary 2375
6 France 2362
7 Spain 2237
8 Germany 1887
9 Slovenia 1862
10 Italy 1512
11 Russia 1337
12 Serbia 1325
13 Bosnia 1187
14 Portugal 1112
15 Belgium 1050
16 Romania 1000
17 Slovakia 912
18 Denmark 750
19 USA 675
20 Brazil 650
21 Macedonia 625
22 Netherlands 537
23 Ukraine 525
24 Switzerland 475
25 Latvia 375
26 United Kingdom 350
27 Australia 300
28 Argentina 262
