Hi everyone,

Hope you are doing great. I have been playing THB for a while now, but I have never felt so secure with whether it is better to hire a coach with high attributes, or invest in established players from the start. This of course from the standpoint that you have the money to spend.

My previous experience when I hired a manager was that even if it did develop my players faster, it almost ruined me financially.

What are your experience regarding this topics? You who have managers with higher rating, how many attributes have you invested in?

Probably a stupid extra question. But have I understood correctly that if you for instance have a player with a rating of 15, then it is only a waste of money to hire a manager who has the rating of for example 10 in the same attribute? Because it wont develop that player?

Thanks everone, wish you a great day and week

From what i know, the level of the coach always impact every related atribute of the player.
What happens is that the higher the level of the coach, the fastest the atribute of the player increases, until it reaches its cap or the player gets too old to improve.

Hi Ragnbone,

Thank you for your answer. So lets say the player who has 15 at the moment, and his maximum is 18, he would still benifit from a coach that has 10 like in the example. He develops faster than a coach with lower attributes, but not at the same pace as if the coach had 20?

Have you hired a coach with higher attributes yourself?

Hi

Afirmative for the first question.
Afirmative for the second.
Hiring level 20 coaches is the only way to fully develop the players with the highest talent to their full potencial IMHO.

Thanks for the clear answers, and for your help. Maybe I will start hiring coaches with higher attributes, but maybe not with 20, because I feel that it will ruin me

Training FAQ
1. How does the training work?
A player needs to reach 100 points in a particular skill to gain a level/point in that skill. Once he gains a level he again starts from 0 plus training points over the 100 from the last level gain. Each training cycle (once per week) a player gets 10 +- 2 training points automatically, he also gets points from work ethic and lastly each player also gets training points from the coaches skill times 2 (For Example: player is training attacking, the coaches skill in attacking is 17 so the player gets additional 34 training points). When training physical skills a player can also get an additional training points for the fitness centre and for each upgrade of it. He also gains/loses points depending on training intensity and players age.

Of course, getting bankrupt will end you handball adventure.
Staff (and players salaries) are the main reason to that end if you dont have a solid rock economy.
So caution is advised.

Thank you very much for the input. I didnt realize that the impact was that big from coaches, so maybe I should invest in coaches with perhaps 10 in attributes for some of the skills.

How have you done? Do you aim for coaches with 20 or lower?

Totally agree. But it always feels that despite how much money I have at the bank, getting a top coach will put my total salaries over what I make from my 21000 spectators arena. Probably an indication that I have a too expensive squad haha

A good player needs a good coach.
