Read all pinned topics in this section and you will be pretty much ready to make your plans. The game is pretty simple and there isn't too much to learn.

Anyway, start with building your arena, until you start having fewer visitors than your arena can receive. Then you can start saving money so you can pay for some better players or even train them yourself.

Good luck and don't quit early!

What are the benefits of owning the arena other than getting one additional match day sponsor for $725 per game? I just bought my arena at cost of $120,000, thinking I could add more seats and the game won't let me unless I do an arena upgrade for another $420,000, which will take quite while to save up.

The main benefit is just a possibility of further development of the arena. Getting an additional sponsor is pretty nice, but it won't give you too much money. The best option is to just save money and buy another level of the arena (obviously with buying all available seats). This process is repeatable

Arena is your main source of income. Until some 15-18k it's "upgrade ASAP"(watch your attendances) then it will depend on your league level. For my third league 21k was too much, I barely have over 18k attendance rarely and costs are too high. Maybe next season I can fill it in League 2 although very possibly I'll get relegated, but just wanna see how far from league level I am. After that probably I'll sell all older players and grow up next generation.
