Guess I got lucky here! My second best goalie attribute-wise has goalie-octopus.
Reflexes 3
One on one 2
Agility 5
Technique 5
Off the ball 5
Marking 5
Speed 5
Jumping 3
Passing 4
Work ethic 18
Aggression 20 (Is this bad for a goalie?)
Talent 3.5 stars
Team Chemistry 4.5 stars
He remains ice-cold even when under pressure
One of the coaches also noted that McCarty is quite a goalie-octopus.
The only downside is that he's 28 years old. Oh well though. Chances are he'll be my penalty throw taker too since he has shooting of 5. |

A goalie needs: Reflexes, One to one (against free shooters oder 7-Meter-penalty), Agility, Speed, Marking, Passing und bodylength.
If Aggressions high, you have goalie-jumper, if Aggressions low, you have a goalie-stander. Both are possible. |

Tell you what, my goalkeeper octopus in training was the difference maker in my game!
He had a 70% save ratio. My opponents goalie had only a 38% save ratio. It was definitely the difference in the game (though we took 9 more shots too). Since his stats aren't quite that good yet, I'd say the goalie-octopus played a large role.
What did everyone else's goalie save percentage look like? |
