Sorry that I'm writing in latin alphabet, not cyrillic and because of that in english.
Do you remember Valerij Savko?? He was Ukrainian handballer who was the tallest man in the history of this sport with 2,24m of the height. He played for USSR national team and later in 1990s in Bundesliga. There is not much information about Valerij all around in internet, but maybe on ukrainian sites you can find more about him. Or some of you is older and remember handball from 1980s and 1990s in Ukraine? Unfortunately I couldn't find any club he represented in home country.
If you know something more you can write on PM or in the topic "handball giants" on Real Handball page on global forum, where also Serhey Burka from Ukraine is on the list of tallest handballers. |
