No overview this season.. Just a prediction.

-

1: Swedish Handball

It's Goldmaker's time to shine.

2: Niflheim PROTEST

Draugr seems to be the only one who can prevent Goldmaker from taking the final step towards the top.

3: Växjö HF

Seems to be a step behind the 2 topteams, but still way ahead of the rest of us.

4: Kaer Loche

Mark my words.. Chrill will eventually win the TD.
In my humble opinion, he is the best manager in THB.

5: Helsingør IF

I hope i'll do better than last season.

But to be honest, i really lost most of my motivation half way through the season.
This was due to the fact that i was made aware the Golem IT (the owners of THB), was running another game.
They decided to close that game, and it only survived because some of the original developers took over the game (former staff of Golem).
This was and is in my opinion the best football manager (online), and it has a huge potential.
And the new owners/developers have made more progression in the last couple of weeks, than Golem did in 3-4 years.

This really made me question if i wanted to keep playing the game, and consider if i want to remain as GM.
I eventually decided to enjoy the game as it is (playable).

Sorry for the off-topic, just wanted to share with you guys.

6: Fram 74° Reykjavik

Lateralus is a great manager, and he has way more in him (than showed last season).
I'm sure he will do great if manage to adapt to the higher level of competition.

7: SUPERPLAYERS

I do believe that nolife will be able to get the most out of his team, and survive in the TD.

8: Veneratio
9: LuckyStar

lstar and Vinne has to battle it out for 8-9 place.

10: HC SÄVEHOF

Somebody got to end up last.
A talented manager.. But sadly, the TD is full of those.

-----

A qualified guess?.. Maybe not.
It usually ends up differently compared to what i predict

Surprises but continue the off topic... can you explain what you mention and what happened? Because you're talking about football online game...

The game is at dugout-online.com
The owners (Golem IT) had this game before they made GI and THB.

After a long period of inactivity from the admins/owners, they decided to close the game on 10/04-2012.
Then hell broke loose and all the game's dedicated users (there is quite a lot of them), tried to save the game in different ways.

All that dedication (even after years of disappointments).
Really convinced another company (who consists of former Golem staff + other, and most importantly the original single developer).

They are now rewriting the whole code behind the game, and fixing all the neglected problems.
They are also changing the layout (but still keeping it as retro version of the game), and that's a great thing because a lot users has played the game for 3-6 years.

---

Point is:

Dugout-online is facing a bright future.
And i fear that we are facing the same story here (without the happy ending).

But as said.. I decided to enjoy the game as it is.

For me I have adapt to the higher level, but I don't know what happend!
I trained and developed my players well! For me its a game engine thing as I told you this noon!
Same was seasons ago, I lost to Draugar all the important games and managed in the season ending a draw!
Can't explain that, so play away and look for YOURSELF to have fun, it's hard but it works!!!

Regards Lat!

My prediction:

:: Top ::
Swedish
Nifelheim
Växjö

:: Middle ::
Veneratio
Kaer Loche
Helsingör
Fram

:: Bottom ::
Superplayers
LuckyStar
Sävehof

My ambition is to see what happens this season and hopefully being able to develop a competetive team for the next season. I simply do not have the players to compete in the top yet, but some investments will hopefully speed things up. I think I have a decent idea for training development too.

And to the off topic, this game would benefit greatly from having different developers. As of now it just seem like GOLEM want someone to buy the game or something. The game engine is quite decent afterall and it does indeed simulate stuff quite good if you have more insight into it, and with a healthy amount of randomness invovled so things do not get too predictable. The main problem here is that very few people actually know what goes on with the simulations, and without being able to view matchreports it's just impossible to compete for non supporter players.
