Tried the FAQ but could not find any helpful information.

I assume one can have more than 1 coach? So if I were to hire one coach with 1 in all of the skills and another with 3 in defending, I'd have 1 in attacking, 3 in defending, 1 in goalkeeping etc - right?

Would it cost the same/more/less to hire 1 coach who could do all that rather than having 2?

Another thought:
Lets say I hire two coaches with 1 in all of the skills - i assume it does not equal 2 in all of the skills. But does it improve the quality of the training?

You got it wrong.
In fact you can have only one coach. He can have level 1 to 20 in any or in every skill. You have to read (from FAQ)how training points are distributed from the coach's level, and how much they represent compared to total training points. Then you can choose to train only one group of skills for the whole team (ex. defense) or you can choose multiple training and then you hire multiple skilled coach. My advice is to hire only one or two skills coach, and choose the best level number you can afford.
I hope I made myself clear.

Thanks.

I tried the training section of the FAQ - it says nothing about the hiring and firing of coaches, and their combined skill set.

So if I hire a new coach who has a different skill set than the current coach, the current coach disappears?

When you say "one or two skills coach" I should hire a coach for e.g. defense and one for attack, if those to are the ones I prefer?

Again wroong...
You got coach and his abilities to train skills:defence, attack, tehnique, goalkeeping, fisics. So you have at begining all at 1. And you can decide whether you want attack, defence, etc. on scale between 1-20 or later in game you can buy all coach abilities on 20. Diference between ability on 1 or ability on 20 is that your players faster get higher skills.
Got it?

You can only have one coach at a time, and if you hire a new one (without firing the previous) your old one is automatically fired and replaced by the new one. Only the stats of the new one apply.

However since training takes place on Monday and economy update on Wednesday the smartest process to hire a new trainer is as follows (asuming you already have a lvl 20 trainer in any regime).

1. Train with old trainer and see the effects on Monday.
2. Fire the trainer after the training update,
3. Wait for economy update.
4. Hire your new coach before next training update (Thursday-Sunday).

This way you don't have to pay 1 week of trainer wages.

Easy now with the arrogance. I'm just asking since it is poorly explained in the FAQ.

But thanks
