when I select a player for a defensiv position, the same player goes also to the attack position which is parallel written. How is this to make well? |

Depends on the formation you play... |

I used the 5-1 off. and 6-0 for def.
The problem is, that when I will change a def.player, the off. player is changing also. How will the off.player stay, while the def. player can be changed? |

The defensive and offensive positions are interlocked, meaning that you can't play anyone only in defense or only in offense. |

Is real life handball substitutions similar to hockey subs?
This topics has popped-up every so often.
Are these players referring to basketball like subs for the last 2 minutes when everyone has a half-dozen time outs. |

Not sure how hockey subs work, but real life handball has unlimited available substitutions that can come in at any time. Many teams use this to switch on defensive players every time the team plays defense, and offensive players every time the team plays offense.
There are some professional players that almost never play in offense because so many teams rely on this strategy. |
