What is cool with these qualifications is that Switzerland that hardly rejuvenate his team is qualified for the first time since a long time to World cup, and USA that did the opposite thing didn't qualify after two excellent tournaments with young players ! 
Not cool : what happened to Austria, that makes big efforts too...

Yeah, it highlights why your ranking system should be used instead. All time ranking is simply to hard to improve so many seasons into a game, even with 4 or 5 good world cups in a row  |

Exactly, and the opposite example is Sweden that is number 1 for so long (even if Poland will go ahead them next season) but didn't do great things from a long time ago (10 seasons or more) |

Most important changes :
- HUNGARY and ARGENTINA out with 5 40+yo players
- Big efforts from Orange for U.S.A. but not enough to re-enter (13 to 5)
- RUSSIA gets in due to coach Yaroslav (6 to 3)
- UNITED KINGDOM did the big move with coach Borknagar ! (10 to 0)
