3rd place game
Croatia 31:27 Spain
Both teams played well in defence, but goalkeepers haven't the best day(Hombrados did nothing special after replacing Sierra who started very very bad). Couple of missed 7-m and clear one on one situations cost Spain 4 goals defeat instead of 1-2 goals(they reduced from 4-5 to 1 for a while couple of minutes before the end).
Final
Denmark 21:19 Serbia
Great win by Denmark in the final which secures Polish chance for 2012 Olympics. After average tournament before Mikkel Hansen showed unbelievable performance in the final like in the final of WC 2011. Great defence by both teams, historic percentage of saves by goalkeepers(including Stanić who wasn't superstar before Euro 2012) and a little referees' help for Serbia(not very meaningful). Landin have higher efficiency, but Stanić was in my opinion better goalkeeper in the final because Dane saved a lot of easy throws when the hosts couldn't find a position to throw because of great work by defence. Stanić saved more first line shots. Still great result for Serbia. Denmark did other historic thing - gold medal after entering main round without any point.
In both medal matches better teams won.
