Goalkeeper: Darko Stanic (Serbia) - No arguments here, but Landin could've easily been there
Left wing: Gudjon Valur Sigurdsson (Iceland) - Deserved
Left back: Mikkel Hansen (Denmark) - Deserved if you discount his early performances
Center back: Uros Zorman (Slovenia) - Gabor Sczaszar should have been here
Right back: Marko Kopljar (Croatia) - Lazarov should DEFINITELY have been here
Right wing: Christian Sprenger (Germany) - WHAAAAA |

As promised - All-star team summary
Goalkeeper: Darko Stanić(Serbia) - Host nation goalkeeper came as really good player, on the tournament he was the best. Even if his percentage of saves in the final was lower, Serbian defence wasn't the best too. Award totally deserved.
Other candidate:Niclas Landin Jacobsen(Denmark), Ole Erevik(Norway)
Left wing: Gudjon Valur Sigurdsson (Iceland) - Experienced left winger was the best player for Iceland and by far the best scorer on his position. I think award deserved.
Other candidates: Manuel Strlek(Croatia)
Left back: Mikkel Hansen (Denmark) - Organizers gave him the award and then in the final he showed he should get it. Played only 2 great games with other average. It doesn't really matter because he decided the final game. Award is deserved I think
Other candidates: Momir Ilić(Serbia), Michał Jurecki(Poland)
Center back: Uros Zorman (Slovenia) - Maybe it's more award for very solid team of Slovenia than for experienced playmaker. Led his team to respectible 6th position without unbelievable game. A bit of luck because no CB played great tournament.
Other candidates: Daniel Sarmiento(Spain), Gabor Csaszar(Hungary), Pavel Atman(Russia)
Right back: Marko Kopljar (Croatia) - Croat wasn't the tallest man in tournament this time. Despite that he played his best ever tournament and sometimes led Croats instead of Balić or Duvnjak, it shouldn't be enough for All-star team.
Other candidates:Kiril Lazarov(Macedonia) - best
Right wing: Christian Sprenger (Germany) - The biggest mistake. Maybe THW Kiel winger played better than most of his team-mates, but in some games he was in reserve in other made nothing special.
Other candidates: Ivan Cupić(Croatia) - best, Dragan Gajić(Slovenia)
Pivot: Rene Toft Hansen(Denmark) - 2,00m tall Dane didn't score many goals, but was very good in breaking the defence and making holes for his team-mates as well as with K.Nielsen key player in defence. Award deserved in my opinion.

| Zorman is in this all-star team beacuse he was the leading in assists in the EC and because when he was playing Slovenia was in the lead and when he was resting we started to lose and most of the games ended with us losing when our coach decided to bench him for too much time. |

MY ALL - STAR TEAM.
GOALKEEPER-Niklas Landin-he need to be there,he is young and has great performance.He had most saves on this tournament.
Darko Stanic was good,but not so like as Niklas!
LW-Sigurdsson-Deserved,great games by him 
LB-Mikkel Hansen-Oh what a powerful shot! Great games he is deserve to be here in ALL STAR TEAM.
CB-Uros Zorman-...Well maybe it's deserved to be there,a lot of assits,but easily Sarmiento from Spain could be there 
RB-Kiril Lazarov is the best! The most goals on tournament.But yes Kopljar was great in last 2-3 games..i'm Croat and I think that Lazarov is a lot better 
RW-Hm...Čupić or Gajič are best,Sprenger not! My opinion! 
Pivot-Rene TOFT is deserved to be the best! Not a lot of goals,but in defence and the blocks in attack...all is here.CONGRATS 
BEST DEFENCE PLAYER?-No Morros.He is great but...easily there could be Nielsen or Gojun
And what about the MVP? Momir Ilic?? O.M.G. |
