That's just it Serbians and Croatins will always "hate each other beacuse of the war between them. Every little thing, especially sports, can now provoke this kind of behaviour from them. It was the same in basketball in the finals of Balkan league between Partizan and Cibona and it the same in football. This will probably take at least 2 or 4 generations to cool down for maybe just a little.
But that just how it is.
Good luck to Serbia and Denmark in the final.
I hope Serbia wins and gives Slovenia the chance for Olympics. |

I understand Croats don't like Serbians and vice versa, because of conflicts in former Yugoslavia and mostly 1990s war.
In Poland we don't like Russians too often, but mostly because of their government and introducing communism in Poland after II World War. Not because of some single attacks on cars or stopping fans on border.
In final I would support Denmark only because their win gives Poland a spot in olympic qualification tournament, when Serbia's win close our way to London 2012. |

6 teams - Denmark, Spain, Sweden, Croatia, Iceland and Hungary booked qualification tournament tickets by finishing 2-7 on last WC(France as a champion won direct qualification).
A champion of Euro 2012 also win a direct qualification. If one of this countries listed above(Denmark is the last having a chance) win a direct qualification, Poland as 8th of last WC takes its place in qualification tournament.
Other 2 spots in qualification tournaments are available for 2 best teams of Euro 2012 having no qualification. Serbia and Macedonia takes it so far, but if Serbia win gold they got direct qualification and spots in qualification tournaments goes to Macedonia and Slovenia - 2 best in Euro 2012 having no qualification before. |
